Two New Things

I tweeked my 'Perfect Slipper' in order to have a unisex line
as well, after I made a pair for a customer that wanted
to get for her boyfriend (she wanted in yellow/grey).
They are called:

'Let's Play Footsies'

I will try and get some more colors done as soon as possible

for both slippers, and get them posted at my etsy shop.

I have also working on a design (still doing a tad of tweeking yet)

Hi, Yea, It's Me!!

Sorry that I have not been in here posting much lately. I have started making slippers. I did up this design a couple of weeks back.
I call them
'The Perfect Slipper'.
No toe poking out of these, lol.
I made these more like a shoe at the toe end, then rounded back to making the foot. Since I first posted these at my etsy shop, I have been busy filling orders for them. They did turn out so good that I will be continuing to make on these for a while. I am trying to get at least 8 or 9 more colors done up soon, now that I have caught up on these first orders.

The ville was my first home and I do still like to visit there. They were very warm and gave me a wonderful welcome when I was new to the internet. I know that Donna is working feverishly at getting the server and all back up and running to perfection. You must bare with them.

I have been missing in action

Sorry everybody, I haven't meant to desert you all. I have been working on a few designs of my own. I have 3 or 4 in the works..............but I have finished one of them just tonight. It is really a simple pattern ( I do not like anything else, LOL).
I wanted to come up with a baby afghan that one could do in under 6 hours (or in one day).
This is what I designed. Remember, it is just a really simple ghan, but it can be gussied up with some applique things for girl or boy. Just sew onto the ghan anywhere. This is a simple join as you go ghan.

I finally got my website two days ago. I have been shopping

for a web host a little over a year. After I saw Ambers store, I new
that was the one I wanted to get to host mine. I have posted just
a few things, but there are a lot more that need to be put in there.

I will do a little each day so check back often. Contact me there
and let me know if there is anything you would want me to carry,
I will do my best to get it in my shop for you.

I have been trying to get this back up as soon as I could and I think that I have just about got everything back on board now. I will add more goodies now that I have somewhere to put them.
I just did not have any room much with the Blogger 2-column template for what all I wanted to put in my blog. So I went searching for a blogger 3-column template
and found this site.

This is the one there in blue (left side about mid way down). This one that I liked the best because it is one of my favorite colors and I did not have to try and figure out how to change it.

It always seems that I have more left over yarns than not. it never

seems to be enough left over to do in anything big. So, it's the scrap

patterns to the rescue :)

Saturday Sky

Here today in my neck of the woods our sky is pretty but we are having A HOT ONE my friends. We have been in the 90's now for a few days and very humid---never a pleasant mix at all. To give you an idea of just how miserable it has been, and is today, last night we had a heat index of 92 degrees (Fahrenheit) at 10:oo PM.

WOW!!

I wish I could say that we haven't hit our dog days of Summer here, but I can't----they have arrived in all their glory. This usually stays like this for about 6 weeks on an average here, and then we begin to start cooling back down.

I have been so sick now with a loosy chest cold for 3 days, and today, I thought I would begin to feel some better.

I am not much better at all. I usually never get a cold in the Summer but I think this one is well making up for all of those I missed.
